ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Administration Team is crucial in the operations that make ViP Successful. You will report to our Director have various responsibilities and opportunities to act as a project manager.

Rehearsals occur Friday evenings, all day Saturdays, and most of the day Sundays in Saginaw, TX. Attendance is not required at all rehearsals but will be mandatory on some days. Attendance will be expected at all performances, and WGI Finals in Dayton, OH. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Record and measure all participants for uniform fittings. 

  • Perform administrative tasks provided by the Director. 

  • Organize and track inventory of various assets. 

  • Act as a liaison between Directors and Performers. 

  • Support scheduling and timelines. 

  • Act as primary point of coordination at WGI Finals in Dayton, OH.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong Google Suite skills.

  • High understanding of the Slack platform. 

  • Great communication skills, open to feedback, able to collaborate. 

  • Strong organization skills and willing to take initiative. 

  • Background understanding of performing marching arts, WGI or DCI experience in some capacity is preferred.

- Candidate is responsible for transportation and housing for rehearsals and local shows
- Candidate will be required to clear a background check for the position.
- Candidate will be required to take SafeSport Certification Training.

Videographer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our media team is responsible for capturing content that represents the organization. As a media member you will be working closely with our leadership and members to capture images of our ensemble throughout our season that will be represented on our social media platforms. 

Our rehearsals occur Friday evenings, all day Saturdays, and most of the day Sundays in Fort Worth, TX. Attendance is not required at all rehearsals but it is expected at all performances, and WGI Finals in Dayton, OH. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Involvement of pre-production, shooting, editing, as well as aspects of coordinating, planning and executing video footage. 

  • Distribute content on multiple platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc. 

  • Collaborate with other media team members and leadership to continue building out the ViP Brand. 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or any similar video editing software

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

  • Working knowledge of Video Camera Operation

  • Ownership of high quality video production equipment an microphones

  • Ability to think on the fly, plan and meet deadlines, and willing to receive feedback in a positive manor. 

BONUS

  • Previous WGI/DCI Videography experience

  • Previous percussion experience
